Tenders for Construction of Waste Water Treatment Facility and Sewer on Left Danube Coast in Belgrade in November and December

The tendering for the construction of the waste water treatment facility on the left coast of the Danube, where the sewerage will flow in, will open in November, and the tendering for the construction of a sewer system will open in December, as announced by the deputy mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic.

While visiting the works on the construction of the new Health Center in Borca, he said that the facility of 5.5 thousand square meters would be completed in January 2021.

– The facility will feature many specialized services, from a children's section to ultrasound, considering that around 150 thousand citizens live here, most of whose medical needs will be met here. This autumn, we also expect the tendering for the construction of the kindergarten which will be located near the health center, and we are also preparing a location for the construction of a school – Vesic said.

The president of the Municipality of Palilula, Aleksandar Jovicic, pointed out that the old Health Center in Borca might be repurposed as a service center for citizens on the left coast of the Danube.

– Those premises would feature services for the legalization of buildings, the issuing of documents, more precisely, all the activities that the citizens now carry out at the Municipality of Palilula building in Takovska Street. This way, the citizens would no longer have to travel 15-20 kilometers to get the service. Instead, it would be available to them in the Borca neighborhood, in this space, which would be the center for Krnjaca, Kotez, Padinska skela and other neighborhoods in this part of the city – Jovicic pointed out, as reported by Beoinfo.
