Leading Serbian Construction Company Enriching its Residential Complexes with Smart Benches
A leading local construction company, Galens Invest, and an innovative Serbian company, Strawberry Energy, have signed an agreement whereby, for the first time in the Serbian market, the residential complexes of Galens will be enriched with Strawberry Smart Benches. A smart bench is an innovative technological solution of Strawberry Energy for the purposes of residential living of the future. Powered by solar energy, this modern urban furniture provides the service of free charging of mobile devices, through USB connections and wireless chargers. In addition to this function, the Strawberry Smart Bench collects data on the quantities of CO2, the level of noise, the humidity, the temperature and the air pressure in the environment, and all the data are available in real time through a free app.
This step forward in improving the quality of living is in line with world trends, but also the accelerated pace of today`s life. Furthermore, the awareness of the society of a responsible use of natural resources is growing and sustainable energy sources are not only a trend, but also a need for all urban environments. Smart benches follow the fast-paced life of today and allow everyone to take a break on a bench while charging their mobile phones and using fast WiFi internet. Galens has enabled the Smart Benches to provide the users with important local information, such as events in the city, temperature, humidity and quality of air. All this is made possible thanks to ecologically clean solar energy which charges the benches instead of the regular electric energy.
The implementation of Smart Benches in the residential complexes of Galens Invest is not just an innovative technological solution, but also very flexible residential furniture featuring a modern design and providing all tenants with the service and meeting the mobility needs. Also, in complying with the principles of socially responsible business operations, Galens Invest wants to highlight the importance of the preservation of the environment and the significance of the use of renewable energy sources. As one of the leading companies in its industry, it believes that its responsibility is to contribute to raising the society`s awareness of the importance of these topics. Like world companies and major cities such as London, Galens recognizes the importance and implements innovations in the Serbia market through its vision of more comfortable and functional living.
– Strawberry Energy has always developed its products so that they are adapted to the needs of modern citizens and cities of the 21st century, while at the same time paying attention to sustainability and ecology – said Milos Milisavljevic, General Manager and founder of Strawberry Energy. – Today, Strawberry Energy develops smart furniture for urban environments, which uses solar energy to provide the users with free internet and energy for charging mobile phones and other devices. We believe that, with our solutions, we can improve residential areas and provide citizens with a better living and working experience in the cities of today – Milisavljevic concluded.
