Air taxis becoming increasingly popular in Serbia – There are seven operators with total 26 aircrafts
Public airline companies include Air Pink, Air Serbia, Balkan Helicopters, Eagle Express, MPC Air, Prince Aviation and Sky Bridge. The total number of aircrafts with up to 10 passenger seats, which are used by these seven operators, is 26 (23 planes and 3 helicopters), the Directorate said.
– Prince Aviation and Air Pink are the two largest air taxi companies in the region and beyond, the editor-in-chief of the aviation portal Tangosix, Petar Vojinovic, said for B92.
Vojinovic said that at certain times those two companies had over 10 planes each in use. According to him, Prince Aviation stands out because of its capacity for maintenance and modifications.
– Prince Aviation has four planes in the fleet from the Cessna Citation family, and flies with them in the Euro-Mediterranean area, and to destinations in Russia and the former Soviet Union, the executive director of “Prince Aviation”, Vladimir Jovanovic told B92.
He pointed out that the corona virus pandemic in mid-March almost completely paralyzed the transport of passengers in air traffic, so Prince Aviation and other airlines in the world implemented measures to ensure safe flying for its passengers and its crew.
– Due to the nature of work (direct flights, smaller number of passengers and use of special terminals), business aviation recovers somewhat faster than regular air traffic, said Jovanovic.
