German buyers initiative for the Western Balkan Countries Event Held until September 30
The German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Serbia), representatives of the German economy in the Western Balkans (AHK), as well as the German Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME e.V) are organizing the event, the official statement reads/
More than 30 German companies has confirmed their participation in the project, whereas 154 companies from the Western Balkans will take part.
52 companies – suppliers from Serbia only will present their businesses to potential German partners in the following days. A total of 340 B2B (Business to business) meetings will be held in the following period.
The project is being held the sixth year in a row and the and the aim is for German companies to find producers from the relevant sectors in Serbia and the Western Balkans. The project concept is based on the “ B2B – matchmaking” mechanism.
Interested German companies primarily come from the metal processing sector, the supply sector in the automotive industry, the plastic production and processing sector, whereas a smaller number of companies come from other fields such as construction and energy sectors.
The event is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany and it's a part of Foreign market development programme for SMEs of the FR of Germany.
