In the first month of the implementation of the New Law on Public Procurement Procedures, which envisages exclusively electronic execution of these procedures, 127 eProcurement Procedures were advertised.

As the NALED says, this is not enough and procuring entities and suppliers need to be educated about the implementation of the new procedures.

The NALED emphasizes that many procuring entities rushed to launch public procurement procedures before July 1, so that the new regulations would not apply, and that, this year, another 3,345 public procurement procedures will be carried out using the old procedure, which involves paperwork.
