International Festival of Tourism and Environmental Film SILAFEST 2020 to Take Place Online

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and rules and measures to prevent the spreading of the infection, the International Festival of Tourism and Environmental Film SILAFEST will be held online this year.

Of the 196 film applications, the selection commission has decided to have the 54 best ones screened at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcQuENNhwBhzG6hm0eCiYZw

The award ceremony, which is otherwise held at the amphitheater of the City Park in Veliko Gradiste, will also be held online this time.

This year's jury members were Andreas Meschuh, a producer from Graz, Vladimir Rackovic, film and theater music composer, Vladimir Pavkovic, a professor at the Vocational School of Tourism Studies in Belgrade, and the president of the jury was Julian McDonnell from London, last year's GRAND PRIX winner at SILAFEST.

SILAFEST is part of the chain of CIFFT film festivals, which gathers, under the patronage of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the best festivals of these kinds of movies, held in New York, Los Angeles, Warsaw, Berlin, Cannes, Porto, Vienna, Istanbul...
