LUCIC: Telekom will be worth EUR 4 billion in 2023

Telekom Srbija is currently worth more than EUR 2 billion, and according to the business projections, it will be worth EUR 4 billion in 2023, stated the coordinator for the internet and multimedia at the company, Vladimir Lucic.

– According to all projections, in 2023, Telekom will be worth at least EUR 4 billion, primarily by financial projections and the level of debt. I believe that it will be worth even more, because we will operate in more countries than now, because we plan to expand our business in the European Union, the USA and Canada – Lucic said when asked about the company's value.

He pointed out that a difficult business cycle was behind Telekom Srbija, but that the value of the company had increased.

– In the past two years, the company has invested in an optical network, in the most modern mobile network, in acquisitions of cable operators and in creating new TV content, especially through the Arena Sport channel – Lucic said.

He emphasized that Telekom had managed to complete the strongest investment cycle and to keep the debt level at the European average.

– We have managed to have debts be lower than three times the EBITDA, which is considered normal for a telecommunications company – Lucic said.
