Vracev Gaj Lake in Bela Crkva Gets New Beaches
You can rest, play beach volleyball, have fun at water slides, ride paddle boats or take the gauntlet challenge at the Adrenaline Park. Accommodation is available at the two camps at the lake.
With its existing infrastructure, beaches and recreation facilities, the city lake in Bela Crkva attracts a large number of guests, especially on weekends, but the new beaches at the Vracev Gaj Lake have certainly unburdened the main lake, where the crowds are now smaller, making the stay there much more pleasant.
Although the lack of traditional visitors from the neighboring Romania is noticeable, the number of guests is satisfactory, the capacities are filled to a considerable extent, and August is already booked at most of the registered accommodation units, so there's currently a demand for “an additional bed”.
It should be noted that the safety of the swimmers at the two beaches at the Vracev Gaj Lake is entrusted to lifeguards, who can be found at clearly marked outposts and are also available for other kinds of first aid.
The control of the quality of lake water is done every two weeks, so the water is safe for the swimmers and is in the categories which mark it safe for swimming and water recreation. The average water temperature at the lakes in the summer months is 21-26 degrees Celsius.
