Telekom Enters Second Round of Tender for Purchase of Ipko Operator from Pristina
There are seven other candidates interested in this operator, which is owned by Telekom Slovenija.
The company didn't want to officially confirm the findings for the daily, but reminds that, in his interview for Blic, Vladimir Lucic, the coordinator for the internet and multimedia of Telekom Srbija Group, pointed out that they were very interested in the transaction.
– Our offer is not of political, but economic nature, of course, and is very important to us as part of the realization of our goal of becoming a telecommunications leader. I don't quite understand those who are comparing this offer with the one we made in Albania two years ago. We already operate in Kosovo and Metohija as a landline and mobile operator and I can't see why anyone would be against our additional investment, because it is good for the users and the economy in this area above all. But let's wait and see how thing develop – Lucic said.
