Memorandum of Understanding Signed with Nvidia – Construction of One of the Fastest AI Supercomputers in Southeast Europe Planned

The Office for IT of the Government of Serbia has announced that, during the visit of the prime minister, Ana Brnabic, to Kragujevac, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Nvidia on an AI project.

The director of the Office for IT, Mihailo Jovanovic, said that it was an expression of a mutual interest in cooperation to the end of improving the national AI platform of Serbia.

According to him, the Office for IT and eGovernment will make efforts toward the establishment of a state AI platform based on high-performance computers and, together with Ndivia, prepare a special plan for the enhancement of the capacities necessary for the construction of one of the fastests AI supercomputers in Southeast Europe.

Ndivia will provide support to startups and enable training to the end of improving technical and applied AI knowledge, as well as joint research, aiming to create added value.
