Guidelines for Entry of Foreigners to Serbia – Completed Test Required
As part of the preliminary guidelines, the CCIS says that the request, which is forwarded to the CCIS at inocovid19@pks.rs, needs to be filed on a memorandum from the company and contain the name of the person(s) requesting entrance to Serbia, the passport number, the name of the country issuing the passport, the reason for the arrival, the time and the border crossing (flight number or car registration).
Also, the request needs to contain the address where the person will stay in Serbia and the address where they will do their job, because, as the CCIS emphasizes, the permit enables the person to stay at the designated address and a limited movement to the workplace, under the condition that the person has tested negative for SARS-CoV-2.
The CCIS guidelines also say that, if the person is not capable of having themselves tested in the country they are coming from, a self-isolation period of 14 days at the address given to the Commission for the Issuing of Permits is mandatory.
The CCIS notes that the 14-day self-isolation cannot be shortened by having oneself tested in Serbia.
The CCIS will then send the documentation, along with its authorization, to the government's Commission for the Issuing of Permits for Entry to Serbia, complying with all the protective measures related to COVID-19, and the answer can be expected within 24 to 48 hours of the filing of the request.
