Serbian Railways Infrastructure to Finance Construction of Concrete Plate at Cote 105 in Prokop
The works will be carried out by the Belgrade-based company Elita-cop, as part of a joint bid with Koto from Belgrade and KLM Inzenjering TM from Novi Sad, and the completion deadline is 450 calendar days, that is, August 9, 2021, the press release says.
The value of the works includes all the costs of the realization of this project, that is, the labor, the materials, the mechanization, the equipment and the construction works. The investor is the company Serbian Railways Infrastructure.
According to the contract, as specified, a concrete structure of 35,743 m2 will be built, extended and adjusted at the Belgrade Center station.
The new concrete structure in Prokop will be located above the first and second station tracks, not yet built.
When the works are completed in August 2021, the Serbian Railways Infrastructure will start building the first and second tracks at the Belgrade Center station, each of around 500 meters.
The new structure at Cote 105, as well as the two tracks, are included in the project of the new main railway station in the capital of Belgrade.
The Serbian Railways Infrastructure thereby continues its activities in building Belgrade Center, so that the project would be finally completed after four decades, the press release says.
The completion of all the planned works at the Belgrade Center railway station is also in line with the construction of the Belgrade-Budapest high-speed railway, whose first section, between Belgrade and Novi Sad, should be completed in October 2021, according to the announcements.
