In Kikinda, where, upon the declaration of the state of emergency, the strictest measures were first implemented, the largest companies soon closed their facilities. However, a month later, the facilities of the most important local companies have reopened, and some have worked all this time at a reduced capacity.

A week ago, the production, under a slightly altered regime, was relaunched in the facilities of the Italian factories Zoppas and Calzedonia, and on Tuesday, the Senta-based company Tisza Automotive reopened its facilities as well. The latter currently employs the most workers in Senta and the Tisza Region, as it has facilities in both Senta and Becej.

The trade unions are satisfied with the employers' relations with their employees and point out that all the managements have made efforts to create the optimal conditions for the work to continue, after a temporary halt. The reopening of these facilities has been made possible thanks to the fact that the strict measures have produced positive results.

Encouraging news are coming from other Kikinda companies as well.

Cimos has announced a resumption of operations after a two-week break.
