Invitation and Instruction to Companies to Apply for Economy Stimulus Program

At the second meeting of the Coordination Team for Implementation of the Program of Economic Measures for Abating the Negative Effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic, a legal framework was defined, which, as expected, should be adopted this Friday, April 10, at a session of the Government of Serbia, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia announced.

The plan is for an invitation and an instruction to be sent to companies to apply for the Program of Economic Measures after the adoption, on Monday. The program will feature measures of tax policy, direct help to the private sector, measures for maintaining the liquidity and direct help to all citizens of legal age.

The meeting at the Palace of Serbia was attended by Finance Minister Sinisa Mali, Construction Minister Zorana Mihajlovic, Labor Minister Zoran Djordjevic, Agriculture Minister Branislav Nedimovic, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Marko Cadez, the state secretaries of the Ministry of Economy, Dragan Stevanovic and Milun Trivunac, representatives of the cabinets of the president and the prime minister of Serbia, as well as of the Tax Administration, the Government of Serbia announced on its website.
