The Serbian Association of Employers has proposed for vouchers for the purchase of domestic goods to be distributed instead of the announced 100 euros for each citizen.

They propose for these vouchers to be used for purchase of a part of a plane ticket, but only for Air Serbia, all food articles and alcoholic drinks, clothes, footwear, chemical products, home appliances, protective products, fertilizers, building materials, all this pertaining to products made in Serbia only. The Association believes that the vouchers should enable payment for utility services, student homes, local transport, hospitality services at domestic facilities and other services.

– This would directly pump a significant amount of money in the Serbian economy. In other words, our money would end up on the accounts of our, domestic companies, which filled the budget as is, of course, with a secured refund of 20% of the VAT to the state budget – the Association says in a statement.
