The deputy mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic, said that the City of Belgrade would not charge its tenants for the lease of office space during the state of emergency, as business activities in the service sector and commerce, aside from retail, had stopped, leaving the tenants practically without any income.

– The City of Belgrade will not charge for the lease of office space owned by it during the state of emergency. When the state of emergency ends, our tenants will be given 30 days to declare how they want to pay the rent for this period. We will offer two options. The first is for the payment to be made by December 31 with a 50% discount, and the second is for the entire amount to be paid in 2021 in 12 monthly installments – Goran Vesic said, as reported by Beoinfo.
