Payment of Announced State Help in the Amount of Three Minimum Wages Through Special Purpose Account

The payment of the announced state help to enterprises, micro, small and medium companies, in the amount of three minimum wages, which should begin in mid-May, will be carried out through a special-purpose account, Novosti announced.

Each company will have to open a special account to which the planned money will be paid, the Ministry of Finance told Vecernje Novosti.

This way, the money will be given to the employees directly, without any possibility of misuse. That is the purpose of opening a special-purpose account, to prevent the money from being used for any other purpose.

The Ministry of Finance says that there remain some open questions and that they are working on precisely defining the solutions so that the Government of Serbia could adopt a legal framework in about ten days.

Let us remind that, as said yesterday, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia expects the first payments of these amounts to be made in mid-May.
