The Nikola Tesla Airport will not be closed during the state of emergency implemented due to the spreading of the COVID-19 virus, but, based on the decision adopted by the Government of Serbia today, all international commercial flights to and and from this airport are temporarily stopped beginning at noon, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia announced.

The international border crossing at the Nikola Tesla Airport will be temporarily closed from today, March 19, by the government's decision.

The airport remains open for all humanitarian flights and cargo traffic, and the airspace of Serbia remains open for flyover.

Passengers are advised to seek more detailed information about the way to exercise their rights from their airline, the press release says.
