Contest for tenants at Science-Technology Park in Nis soon
The finishing construction works on the facility are in progress, and the interior works are being carried out simultaneously.
– We hope that we will know who the tenants of the Science-Technology Park are by mid-April. The plan is for them to start moving in beginning with May and for the Science-Technology Park to start fulfilling its task and the mission it was founded for – says the acting director of the Science-Technology Park of Nis, Milan Randjelovic.
The Science-Technology Park is located close to the technical faculties in Nis and has 14,000 square meters of usable area.
It is meant for small companies whose field of activity are innovations in scientific research and young scientists, who will carry out their research in various fields under the most modern conditions and using the most modern equipment in their own country from now on.
The construction of the Science-Technology Park is a part of the long-standing program of investments in development of science, for which Serbia has set aside more than EUR 400 million. The construction project is worth EUR 6.7 million.
