Czech companies interested in investing in Sumadija
Kuhta said that there were 10-12 companies from Vysocina interested in economic cooperation and investments in Sumadija.
According to him, these are primarily companies from the manufacturing and machine industry.
– It is important for the Czech companies that Kragujevac has a long industrial tradition, but also experts and technically educated young people that could be employed – Kuhta said.
He told the press that the visit of the delegation of companies from Vysocina to Kragujevac would be led by the region's president.
According to Kuhta, there have not been any investments by Czech companies in Kragujevac so far, whereas there are several in Serbia.
The biggest Czech investor in Serbia is PPF, which has bought Telenor. There are also Czech investments in the Krusevac-based company 14. oktobar, which has around 350 employees, and Czech companies also participate in the construction of a film studio. Finally, some food companies in Vojvodina feature Czech investments.
