New decree on compensation for incentives for preferred producers of electricity adopted
The Ministry of Mining and Energy earlier announced that the Decree on incentives for the production of electricity from renewable sources and highly efficient combined production of electrical and heating energy was no longer in effect.
The ministry said that the persons that acquired the status of a temporary preferred producer and/or preferred producer of electricity based on a request filed after December 31, 2019, had the rights to the incentives, but couldn't realize them before the adoption of the new decree.
This does not apply to persons which acquire the status of a preferred producer of electricity based on a request filed after December 31, 2019, if they previously acquired the status of a temporary preferred producer of electricity, or to the persons which acquire the status of a temporary preferred producer and/or preferred producer of electricity after December 31, 2019, and based on request filed before December 31, 2019.
