The long awaited reconstruction of the dilapidated Clinic for Infectious and Tropical Diseases of the Clinical Center of Serbia has begun. The institution is expected to get a whole new look in 14 months, Politika writes.

It was decided for no building within the clinic to be torn down. Instead, three inpatient facilities are to be reconstructed and another institution is then to be built within the hospital.

Five million euros is to be set aside for the reconstruction of the existing facilities, and the construction of the new one will require around EUR 15 million.

Works are currently being carried out at the departments for neurological infections, intestinal infections, clinical pharmacology, HIV-AIDS and hepatology.

More about other healthcare facilities to be reconstructed in Serbia can be found in this article.
