Construction of high speed traffic route connecting Valjevo with Milos Veliki highway to start in March
– We will also complete the documentation for the new Vozd Karadjordje highway, as well as the documentation for the Nis-Presevo railway. Furthermore, the construction of the high speed railway from Novi Sad to Subotica and the reconstruction of the Bar railway from Valjevo to the Montenegrin border are to start soon – Mihajlovic said, as announced on the ministry's website.
The minister reminded that the works were already being carried out on the section of the Milos Veliki highway from Cacak to Pozega and on the Morava Corridor and that the documentation for the section between Pozega and Boljare would be completed in 2020 as well.
– The documentation of the Pozega-Boljare section alone costs EUR 50 million and once it's completed we will talk about how to finance the project, as this section will cost around EUR 2 billion. Also, in the next three years, we will rehabilitate 5,000 regional and local roads – Mihajlovic stated.
