Ski centers Kopaonik and Tornik recording all-time high results

In the first six days of January, 46% more ski tickets were sold at the Ski Center Kopaonik compared to the same period last year, with the income amounting to RSD 27 million, the Ski Resorts of Serbia announced.

On January 4 alone, there were more than 9,000 skiers at the center's tracks, which, they say, is an all-time high for the month since the founding of the Ski Resorts of Serbia.

They point out that this shows that there's a great interest in Serbian ski centers and that great organization and preparedness of the tracks are what sets them apart from other ski centers.

– At the time when the amounts of natural snow are very small at all ski resorts in the region, the Ski Resorts of Serbia have prepared the grounds on Kopaonik thanks to the hard work and the artificial snow system – they say.

The Ski Resorts of Serbia add that, at the moment, 35 tracks and 20 ski-lifts are operational at the Ski Center Kopaonik, with 30 centimeters of compacted snow.

They also point out that the Ski Center Tornik recorded an all-time high when it comes to the number of tourists, with 11,600 people on the first skiing day, January 4.
