Government adopted appeals for ratification of EIB's loans of 459m EUR

The Government of Serbia adopted, on November 20th, the Draft law on ratification of 459m EUR worth of two loans granted by European Investment Bank.

According to the announcement that followed the meeting of the Government, 384m EUR from the loan for Corridor 10 will be spent on modernization of the highway section between Grabovnica and Levosoj.

EIB's loan for municipal and regional infrastructure includes 75m EUR for realization of the National Investment Plan's projects, for which additional 125m EUR will be set aside from the budget of Serbia.

Total of 200m EUR is intended for improvement of road infrastructure, refurbishment and modernization of educational facilities, science-research institutions, construction and improvement of health care facilities and refurbishment of the facilities of cultural and historical importance.
