The National Assembly of Serbia has adopted a set of international financial agreements, including the Law on Providing a Guarantee of the Republic of Serbia for the Debt of PE Srbijagas for EUR 4 million.

Serbian Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy Zoran Djordjevic said earlier that the money would be invested in the construction of the Aleksandrovac-Brus-Kopaonik-Raska-Novi Pazar-Tutin gas pipeline.

The agreement between the Government of Serbia and the Government of Russia on approving the state exporting credit to the Government of Serbia, signed this October during the visit of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, was adopted as well.

The agreement envisages an amount of EUR 172.5 million for the financing of rail infrastructure projects, which is 75% of the value of the project, whereas the Serbian side will provide the rest from the budget.

The agreement between the governments of Serbia and Slovakia regulates the debt of former Yugoslavia to former Czechoslovakia.

The aim of the agreement between the Government of Serbia and the US Government is to improve the harmonization of tax regulations, preventing tax evasion by American citizens in Serbia, creating a predictable business environment through the strengthening of the institutional capacities of local tax authorities and enabling new investments from the USA.

The agreement on financing between the Republic of Serbia and the German Development Bank KfW entails the realization of the program of strengthening of the social infrastructure in the municipalities affected by the refugee crisis, and the value of the program is EUR 20.8 million.
