Spirit of Belgrade redesigned – Hotel Mona Plaza opens

A new project of Mona Hotel Management, Hotel Mona Plaza in Belgrade, opened on December 16. In Dorcol, on the corner of Solunska and Cara Urosa streets, the location of the former chocolate factory Kosta Sonda, a modern hotel has been raised, reviving the tradition of well known chocolate specialties, which is just one of the things making this location attractive.

This four-star hotel offers 170 spacious rooms and apartments with a modern interior, adapted to the needs of modern travelers. In addition to the already agreed business events, the hotel will be a great choice for organizing private celebrations and ceremonies, whereas the guests will be able to fully experience the multifunctionality and attractive interior as soon as the New Year 2020 celebration, which is open to everyone interested.

With a conference-exhibit space which takes up three levels and over 2,000 m2, Mona Plaza is the largest congress center in this part of the city with a parking lot and a two-tier underground garage.

– Our hotel is located in lower Dorcol, in the historical core of the Serbian capital, close to Kalemegdan, Skadarlija and the Danube, while also not far from Kneza Mihaila Street and the numerous clubs and cafes that Belgrade is known for. The guests will be able to experience that true spirit of the old part of the city, from cultural and art events, the unique experience at the bohemian Skadarlija, or take a walk on the Danube wharf, providing a view to the confluence of the Sava and the Danube, and there's also the very attractive night life in Belgrade. This unique location will allow guests to feel the authentic spirit of upper Dorcol, located at the center of events, while also isolated from the commotion – stated Dejan Pejcinovic, the director of Hotel Mona Plaza.

A unique bar where guests can take a break or spend a night is also available, as are the Sonda patisserie and a large restaurant, offering numerous traditional and international specialties. The hotel announces that, by the time the official, grand opening takes place, which is planned for the spring of 2020, a wellness and fitness center will become available as well.
