Draft agreement on building of water filtering facility in Belgrade with Chinese company CMEC prepared

The working group for the monitoring of activities on the realization of the project of the construction of a facility for the directing and the filtering of waste waters in Belgrade has prepared the draft agreement on designing and building the facility and the memorandum of understanding with the China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC).

Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic reminded that this project was extremely important for the capital of Serbia, being the only one in Europe not to have such a facility. She added that the construction of the waste water treatment facility would solve the problem that had lasted for decades.

By the decision of the Government of Serbia, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has been designated the investor in this project.
