Serbia plans to continue cooperating with Nokia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic emphasized today that Serbia planned to continue cooperating with the Finnish company Nokia, especially when it comes to the landline phone network and transport optical systems.

At the meeting with the delegation of Nokia, led by Mikko Lavanti, Nokia's Vice President for Central and East Europe and Central Asia, Vucic said that, for Serbia, it was also very important to be able to use the experiences of the Finnish company in the development of entrepreneurship in IT.

At the meeting, it was agreed that the cooperation between Telekom Srbija and Nokia, spanning decades and entailing various technological segments of mobile and landline telephony, had been very good. They expressed hope that the cooperation would be considerably improved in the future.


Nokia, one of the world's largest producers of TC equipment, employs around 100,000 people worldwide, including large centers in Finland, France, Germany and the United States of America, announced the PR service of the president of Serbia.
