"Falke" intends to build factory in south of Serbia - German textile company expands production
- Famous German textile factory "Falke" is interested in construction of a factory in southern Serbia, which would create jobs for 600 people - people from the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development told "Blic".
People in the Ministry explain that "Falke" plans to expand production in the following period, and they have chosen Serbia as a potential location. On that occasion, the meeting was held yesterday between Mlađan Dinkić, the Minister of Economy of Serbia, and the representatives of that German company. At that meeting, Germans expressed readiness to invest in Serbia and employ about 600 people.
- The representatives of company "Falke" have visited several potential locations for their production capacities, the most interesting of which, in their opinion, is the south of Serbia because of traditionally well-developed textile industry and qualified manpower. They expect to receive support from the Government of Serbia, local self-government and SIEPA in realization of that investment in the following period - said the people in the Ministry.
Minister Dinkić backed this idea and said that the state would provide assistance through the foreign investment stimulus programme, which was being carried out by the Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Serbia. That programme enables allotment of 2,000 to 5,000 EUR per every newly employed worker.
He also introduced the representatives of company "Falke" to all other stimuli that the Government offers to foreign investors.
