Home delivery of appliances and furniture in Belgrade from 8 to 10 pm
Delivery by vehicles needs to be done by 7 am. The City warns that the parking of delivery vehicles on driving lanes and sidewalks will no longer be allowed. Instead, they will have to park in designated parking spots or in the recipient's yard, if there is one.
The main reason for this decision is to enable the public transport to function normally.
It is not quite clear how this will work, as many residential buildings and stores do not have their own parking spaces. TV Prva has looked into the problem.
– Tenants will need to plan the purchase of furniture and home appliances in advance. In buildings without their own parking lots, they will need to be able to take in the goods between 8 and 10 pm and they will need to do so in only 15 minutes – says Djordje Aleksic, a building manager.
According to him, this will be especially problematic for residents in the city center, as numerous buildings there do not have their own parking lots.
