The result achieved in branding Serbian IT industry abroad were presented within the Tesla Nation project, which was launched with the intention to increase the low level of recognition of Serbia in the world, especially in business circles.

This idea, launched by Startit/SEE ICT, was born due to the fact that numerous Serbian IT professionals who are remarkable experts in their field often don't have equal opportunities as their colleagues from other, better branded countries. For that reason, the idea was to create a bridge in the form of business cooperation between developed markets and Serbia, through technological innovations, thereby increasing the reputation of the country and providing its experts with better opportunities for success.

In order to do this, the team behind the Tesla Nation project brought together people from abroad ready to be ambassadors of local IT, foreign IT entrepreneurs on the lookout for technological co-founders in Serbia and IT experts from Serbia.

In only several months since the official launching of the project, more than 35 prominent business people and entrepreneurs from America have become official ambassadors of Tesla Nation, looking to contribute to positioning Serbia as a country of extraordinary innovators and technology professionals.

The project was supported by numerous local and foreign IT companies operating in Serbia, Things Solver and Infostud among others.

– Working with clients outside Serbia we have seen that the country and local IT companies need to be more recognized and branded better. We are a small country and I believe that we need to be unified in achieving this goal – said Darko Marjanovic, the CEO of Things Solver.

– We are dedicated to the economic development of our country, the development of IT entrepreneurship, education, promotion of cultural identity. It was logical for us to get involved, as our intentions are the same – said Petar Stakic, the head of Corporate Communications at Infostud.
