Company "Tehnix Beo", which deals with planning, manufacturing and servicing machines and equipment for environment protection, has started construction of a new production hall in Kumodraška Street in Belgrade. The new facility, which will occupy the surface of 1,500 square meters, will be finished in March 2010, and another 50 workers will be employed in it.

- "Tehnix Beo" is a member of Croatian group "Tehnix", which opened its Belgrade-based office in 2004, while the production in our country commenced in 2007. We use 80% of raw materials from Serbia in the production of waste water treatment systems, recycling equipment, mini-factories and recycling factories, and containers, and the company exports ready-made products to Bulgaria, Montenegro, Romania, and Macedonia – says Dušan Grkinić, the CEO of "Tehnix Beo", and points out that that company is intensively preparing to start exporting products to Russia and Belarus.

This company presented "Biorotor Tehnix" - the device for biological-aerobic treatment of waste water - at the recently finished Ecology Fair in Belgrade.

As Mr. Grkinić explained, "Biorotor Tehnix" satisfies even the needs of small industrial users, as well as the needs of towns with about 10,000 residents.

- We have set up about 40 "Biorotor Tehnix" waste water treatment devices in four years. These systems are used by "Metro" in Belgrade and Niš, "Tekija" from Požega, "Fruvita", "Porsche", "M Rodić" from Belgrade – says Grkinić.

In addition to the waste water treatment systems, the factory in Belgrade also produces separators for treatment of oil matters and mud, as well as various types of containers.

This company is currently engaged in construction of the waste water treatment system alongside the Novi Sad – Horgoš highway.

- Works on Corridor 10, between Horgoš and Subotica, are being carried out by "Bačka put" and "Putevi Užice". We are supervising the works, and we are going to finish the job worth 25m RSD this year - says Grkinić.
