Five telescopes for panoramic viewing installed within Belgrade's fortress
Public company "Beogradska tvrđava" has installed five telescopes for panoramic viewing of the city. Three telescopes are installed on the Sava walk in the Kalemegdan park, while another two are placed at the disposal of the people in the Upper town of the Belgrade fortress, on the rampart between the Observatorium and monument "Victor".
This project has enriched the tourist offer and put Belgrade among the cities that have these devices (model vending). The time of use of telescope is limited at two minutes, and people can pay for that service by sending SMS message that costs 40 RSD plus VAT. The user then receives SMS with the feedback information on when he or she can start using the telescope.
Public company "Beogradska tvrđava" will make it possible for the visitors of the fortress and the Kalemegdan park to use these telescopes for free prior to November 10th.
