EBRD to decide on credit for Novi Sad for procurement of 30 CNG buses in late November
As stated in the document published on the EBRD site, the project has “passed concept review: and is “pending final review”.
The project entails the acquisition of 30 Compressed Natural Gas (CNC) buses, 25 solo and 5 articulated.
The tender for the procurement of the buses is expected to open after the loan agreement is signed.
In early September, the city contracted the procurement of 30 solo Mercedes buses, which will be delivered in six months by Star Import from Belgrade, and at the end of September, after a repeated tendering procedure, it also contracted the delivery of 20 articulated CNG-powered buses from Turkey, which will be delivered by the Belgrade-based company M.P.N. Promet.
