The Ministry of Economy has terminated the procedure of privatization of JAT Tehnika.

As Tanjug reports, all the activities carried out so far are annulled and have no legal effects, and the decision on the termination of the procedure comes into effect on the date of the adoption.

On June 24, the Ministry of Economy opened the first public invitation for taking part in the procedure of a public collection of offers with a public bidding for the purpose of the sale of JAT’s capital. The initial price at the public bidding was 100% of the estimated value of the capital, that is, EUR 20.4 million, and the procedure was pronounced unsuccessful by the Ministry of Economy’s decision of August 1.

The second invitation opened on September 2, and it was determined during the procedure that there were certain issues regarding the execution of the privatization process that needed to be looked into and solved in order for the procedure to be carried out properly and efficiently.

The decision is final and can be contested by filing a complaint with the Administrative Court.
