Deadline for preparation of preliminary design for Danube bridge in Novi Sad extended – Columns of former Franz Josef Bridge to be reconstructed
The final deadline for the submission of works is November 5, 2019, and the extension is down to the contest documentation being changed and supplemented.
The subject of the contest is the preparation of a preliminary design for the bridge, tunnel and access pedestrian and cycling routes on both sides of the Danube, the documentation says.
The aim of the contest is the revitalization of a part of the route of the former railway, in order to establish a connection between the recreational zone of the wharf on the Novi Sad side of the river and the levee on the Petrovaradin side.
Landscaping details also need to be defined, as does the establishment of green areas and the lighting on the accompanying surfaces.
The contest entails three awards, of four, two and a half and one million dinars. A design can be bought out for RSD 200,000.
