Perlez shipyard seeking new owner

Shipyard Bomex 4M doo Perlez in bankruptcy is seeking a new owner. The bankruptcy debtor has been put up for sale as a legal entity. The sale is to be carried out through public bidding.

As said in the text of the tender, the most important pieces of property are buildings in Perlez, shipbuilding facilities – a canteen with a dressing room, production hall of 4,488 m2, and a descending platform – the flat part of the mechanized slipway of 13,082 m2. Also up for sale are the management building, technical gas storage facility and a descending platform – the slanted part of the mechanized slipway.

The initial price of the shipyard is RSD 177 million. Eligible tenderers are all legal and natural persons that meet the requirements.

The public bidding will be held on October 24, 2019, at noon, in Perlez.

Let us remind that, in February 2018, Shipyard Bomex 4M doo Perlez, which owns the shipyard, went into bankruptcy due to financial debts. The first attempt at a sale was announced in November 2018, at the initial price of RSD 315 million. As there were no interested buyers, the shipyard was offered again in May 2019 at RSD 283 million.
