Quality as a Concept conference on October 4 in Belgrade

After the very successful first conference about continuous improvement tools, the Portal of Quality will organize the second Quality as a Concept conference on October 4 at Hotel Tulip Inn in Belgrade, aiming to gather experts in implementing these tools and models.

As said in the press release, the purpose of the conference is to make participants transfer and exchange specific experiences on the development and application of culture, models, techniques and management tools in organizations based on the process approach, whose use in daily business gives concrete results in the form of improved system, process, product / service, satisfaction of users, partners and employees - overall more efficient and effective delivery of value.

In other words, the conference presents examples of the development of organizations based on competencies, which use science and knowledge for more efficient and effective management, based on data and information.

Speakers at the conference are experts with extensive experience in manufacturing and service-oriented companies, in different areas of the organization and various industries. They will, based on many years of practice, present some of the standardized and original / customized systems, techniques, tools and models of management that function in their organizations, as well as the results of using them. They will also share the story of how it has contributed to the quality of the organization and the system, the quality of delivering value to customers and end-users, the quality of processes and products / services, as well as the satisfaction of all participants in the process.

Some of the presenters are Karyn Ross from the USA, the author of “The Toyota Way to Service Excellence: Lean Transformation in Service Organizations”; Emmanuel Calvez, the president of MTM International for Turkey; Dejan Josic, Heineken Production Manager; Aleksandar Drenovac, the author of DIDAW management and improvement concept; Miroslav Jovanovic, a manager presenting a story about the misapplication of a tool; Vladimir Rasovic, who developed a “lessons learned” system of knowledge management used as a model globally; Matej Hohnjec from Slovenia, a world renowned expert in implementing TRIZ as a tool for innovation; Vladimir Martinenko, who travels the world, puts out a fire where needed, and teaches, through customized workshops, e.g. application of Lean principles in pre-planning of large scale projects; Milos Dejanovic, an engineering talent highly skilled in the implementation of the WCM concept.
