Ericsson looking to expand operations in Serbia – Telekom's partner for new IT systems and mobile networks

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met today with a delegation of the Swedish company Ericsson, headed by the Senior Vice President and the Head of Market for Europe & Latin America at Ericsson, Arun Bansal.

At the meeting, Vucic and Bansal talked about the cooperation with Telekom Srbija in the fields of new IT systems and mobile networks, the improvement of new technologies and cooperation on a global level, it is announced on the website of the Presidency.

Ericsson is one of the leading service providers in the fields of information and communication technologies. According to the latest data, it employs around 95,000 people across the globe. In 2018, its sales revenues amounted to EUR 19.5 billion.


The company has had an office in Belgrade since 1998 and is the largest partner of Telekom Srbija Group. It employs 130 people, whose average age is below 40, and is looking to expand its operations in Serbia.
