Croatia seeking project solution for facility for biological treatment of biowaste

The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy of Croatia has published information about the key elements of the open call for the construction and the equipping of a facility for biological treatment of the specially collected biological waste.

The open call will be carried out as part of the Operating Program “Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020”, Specific Goal 6i1 – Reduced Amount of Waste Left at Disposal Sites.

The plan is for the construction and the extension of the said facility to be financed through it. The facility would use the method of composting or the method of anaerobic digestion.

The total sum available for this project is HRK 250 million (around EUR 34 million).

Eligible tenderers are small, medium and large companies, which will be provided with HRK 10 million (around EUR 1.4 million) to HRK 50 million (around EUR 7 million) per individual project.
