The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has issued a building permit for Section 6 of Sector B of the Belgrade bypass route from the Strazevica tunnel to the Bubanj Potok interchange.

– The section is 10 kilometers long, it will be a full profile highway, and the most demanding structures on this section are the Bubanj Potok interchange and the Beli Potok interchange and tunnel – the ministry says on its website.

This is the longest section on the entire Sector B of the bypass route around Belgrade, which stretches from the bridge on the Sava near Ostruznica, in the length of 19.5 km.

This section is also the most expensive part of this project, making up 70% of the value of the works.

– With the issuing of this building permit, all the building permits have been issued for this project, the realization of which will complete the ring route around Belgrade after 30 years – it is added.

The value of the works on the construction of Sector B of the bypass route around Belgrade from Ostruznica to Bubanj Potok is EUR 207 million, and the main contractor is PowerChina.
