Tendering procedure for reconstruction of Cacak levee to open soon

This year’s budget of the City of Cacak includes funds for the reconstruction of the city levee, and the preparation of the documentation for the opening of the public procurement procedure is in the final stage, said Milan Bojovic, Assistant Mayor of Cacak.

– This will entail the reconstruction of a levee within the current proportions, the repair of the driving lanes, the construction of curbs and, later on, the procurement of a larger number of benches and garbage cans of higher quality and better lighting, so that the location would be completed during 2019 in its entire length, from the Belvi restaurant to the hall of the Borac basketball club. Parallel with this, we are also reconstructing the access staircase on the lower plaza, which, together with the works in the Youth Park, which should take until August 5, will make the Morava bank area much better looking.

Current works in city center

The works on the reconstruction of the plaza near Pelivan have started recently and the removal of the slabs is coming to a close. The idea is for the areas in the city center to be developed in order to improve their appearance, the Dzenarika portal writes.

– We have started carrying out the works on the area around the Town Hall, through the plaza in front of the Cultural Center and the Rimski Trg location, and we have now reached the area toward Pelivan. The aim is for the area between the Cultural Center to the new City Library building to be connected with a modern promenade and for the area around the Town Hall to be revived – Bojovic said.
