New industrial zones from Pojate to Preljina – Logistics centers along Morava Corridor to employ 1,000 people
According to the draft spatial plan, the E-761 area between Pojate and Preljina should feature industrial zones and industrial parks in Kraljevo, Krusevac, Cacak, Trstenik, Varvarin and Cicevac, and in the connected area, in Uzice and Novi Pazar.
Furthermore, logistics centers should be formed in Cacak and Kraljevo (the area within the plan) and Uzice (in the connected area). It has been estimated that these centers could employ 500 to 1,000 workers.
According to the draft spatial plan, the Pojate-Preljina section passes through the West Morava valley and connects all the larger places in the region: Stalac, Krusevac, Trstenik, Vrnjacka Banja, Kraljevo and Cacak. Its position makes it very important, as it connects the E-75 highway between Belgrade and Nis (east Serbia) with the E-763 highway between Belgrade and the South Adriatic and the Ibar Main Road (central Serbia), while crossing the following routes: Gornji Milanovac-Cacak-Uzice, Kragujevac-Kraljevo-Raska and Krusevac-Aleksandrovac.
