The new road toll prices, higher by 12%, will most probably be implemented between July 15 and 20, and the National Assembly of Serbia previously needs to adopt the proposition, Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic stated today.

She said that that the proposition would be on the agenda on Friday, June 28, 2019.

– When the parliament adopts the proposition, it will be published in the Official Gazette seven or eight days later, and the PE Roads of Serbia will then ask the government to approve the new price list – the minister said.

She added that Serbia was completing the works on the corridors, as it is the shortest route between the east and the west, which means that a large part of cargo and passenger traffic will be redirected through the country.

The director of the PE Roads of Serbia, Zoran Drobnjak, said that the company would invest an additional RSD 2 billion in road maintenance.
