One lane each in tunnels Predejane and Manajle, on the south leg of Corridor 10, toward the border with North Macedonia, which opened for traffic in May, will be temporarily closed for final tests, the Corridors of Serbia announced on June 14.

The company announced that the final tests were being carried on certain systems, which can only be done with active traffic. They pertain to certain scenarios which entail automatic detection of certain kinds of incidents.

– During the testing period, one lane in each tunnel tube is closed. The final testing will take until June 25, 2019, at the latest, after which the traffic will return to normal. We emphasize that the final testing is being done for the purpose of having all systems in the tunnels functioning without flaw during the tourist season – the Corridors said, Beta reports.
