The Bulgarian pharmaceutical company Sofarma has started building a distribution center in the village of Pukovac near Doljevac. According to the president of the Municipality of Doljevac, Goran Ljubic, 70 people will be employed there.

The distribution center will take up 4,000 m2, and the investment is worth EUR 4 million.

– This investment does not cost the state anything. There are no subsidies, the land has been bought, and the municipality’s only obligation is to provide water supply – Ljubic said.

The plan is for the works on the distribution center to be completed in late 2019, in the period from October till December.

– Initially, 50 people will be employed, and they will employ another 20 later. Of course, these will be citizens of our municipality – Ljubic adds.

This center will supply the market of south Serbia, Kosovo and Metohija and North Macedonia with medical drugs.

Let us remind that Sofarma has recently become the owner of Lekovit in Sabac. The company entered the Serbian market in 2015.
