New sparkling wine from Serbia – Tamjanika from Aleksic winery
– Tamjanika is very easy to work with, both in the vineyard and in the production process. Combined with the traditional method, it is ideal as a refreshing summer drink – Dragana Janjic, one of the sisters, said.
This is the 14th label from the Aleksic winery. It belongs to the Limited series. It is an extra dry wine, which has 14 grams of residual sugar, from the 2016 vintage. It was produced in the amount of 2,000 bottles with 12% of alcohol.
– A certain amount has already been sent to Montenegro, and the B&H market is planned as well. The rest will be available in Serbia – our interviewee added and revealed that certain wines were being prepared at the moment, being aged in a cellar.
The Aleksic winery produces and bottles an average of 400,000 liters of white, red and rose wines a year. Their biggest plan and investment is to establish their own plantations near the winery, on 70 hectares, in an effort to further raise their quality.
The promotion included the opening of the biggest sparkling wine bottle in Serbia ever, at 4 meters in height.
