New state holiday – Government adopts proposition to make May 24 Cyril and Methodius Day

The Government of Serbia has adopted the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on State and Other Holidays, whereby it is proposed for May 24 to be made the Day of Cyril and Methodius.

On that date, as Beta reports, the Day of Slavic Literacy will be celebrated in Serbia.
