The Commission for Protection of Competition has approved the acquisition of the Leskovac-based company Orion with 33 stores by the store chain Aman, as announced on the commission's website.

Aman has thereby become the only owner of Orion, which operates 33 stores in the territory of Leskovac and its area, employing 280 workers.

As the Jugpress portal reports, the goods that have been shipped to the stores of the Leskovac chain are cheaper than those offered by Orion so far.

Aman d.o.o. was founded in 1992 in Belgrade in the segment of commerce and services.

In the meantime, it has become the second biggest store chain in Serbia.

In Serbia, Aman operates 214 retail stores, of which 154 in Belgrade. It employs 2,000 workers.

It is owned by Nedal Halil, a Jordanian with Serbian citizenship.
